At Maracana Indoor Sports Arena, our goal is to foster a fun, soccer-loving community. Confronting and verbally abusing referees can lead to cards, which is no fun for anyone. Just as it’s unrealistic to expect players to play a perfect match, it’s also unrealistic to expect referees to call a perfect match.

If you have a question about a referee’s decision, please ask them politely and non-confrontationally during halftime or after the match. The best way to send feedback (to be added below soon) is through our referee evaluation form. We always welcome positive feedback as well!
